I am deeply honored to have been the only woman in the room as these men embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery through cultural exchange and the Haka. Witnessing their courage to tap into the deepest parts of themselves—to heal and grow so they can show up as their best selves—was truly inspiring. It’s a privilege to share an intimate perspective on the powerful men’s healing work taking place in Chicago, and I hope this film highlights the importance of vulnerability, connection, and cultural respect in transformation.
