Best Cinematography, Best Preparatory Film (Major Prizes)
Harrison is 10 years old and is a passionate filmmaker, actor, singer and musician. He won ‘Best Editing’ and ‘Best Sound’ (both Major Prizes) in the 2019 and 2020 Princes Film Fests, respectively, for his original short films ‘I Can’t’ and ‘Isolated’ and is excited to release his 3rd film, ‘the Wanderer’, at the 2021 Princes Film Fest. In 3 months of production, Harrison logged well over 100 hours to write, plan, scout, shoot and edit ‘The Wanderer’ and learned the basics of Final Cut Pro along the way. On stage in 2021, Harrison starred as Charlie in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and Gavroche in Les Miserables, both with Adelaide Youth Theatre. In January 2022, he will star as Young Simba in AYT’s Lion King Jr. At Prince Alfred College, Harrison is Captain of Performing Arts for the Prep School, lead singer in the Junior Rock Band, features in the Junior Vocal Ensemble and Junior Voices and won Best Solo Performer and Most Promising Voice in the Prep School in 2021 & 2020, respectively. Harrison won back-to-back State Titles in the IPSHA Poetry Recital Competition as a year 4 & 5 and earned High Distinction in the Trinity College London Drama Exams. Harrison is a chorister with the St Peter’s Cathedral Choir and studies piano. When he isn’t shooting, writing or rehearsing, Harrison enjoys mixed martial arts, playing Roblox and Minecraft, creating music on Garageband and playing with his little brother, Weston.
