Director Statement

The Walls of Horror" is an intense exploration of grief and vengeance, where the loss of a loved one can transform a person into a vessel of cruelty and desperation. The story revolves around a mother who, trapped in her pain over her daughter's death, cannot forgive her son-in-law, whom she blames for this tragedy. Through black magic and a voodoo doll, the woman seeks to inflict suffering on the one she holds responsible, attempting to reclaim what she has lost, but in the process, she descends into a dark and terrifying path.

Grief and vengeance are universal themes that, unfortunately, can lead people to extreme actions. I want the audience to reflect on how each individual copes with the death of a loved one and the different ways this mourning can manifest.

Through the figure of the woman, I aim to illustrate how unresolved pain can drive individuals to seek answers in dark places. Her connection to the voodoo doll symbolizes the power of the desire for vengeance, but it is also a representation of the emotional burden she carries.

"The Walls of Horror" is not just a horror story; it is a meditation on loss, forgiveness, and the consequences of clinging to anger. This is a journey through psychological horror, where black magic becomes a mirror of the dark depths of the human soul.
