JILLIAN NOYES is a junior at Connecticut College majoring in Film Studies and minoring in Philosophy. Her passion lies in creating works which incorporate wit, eccentricity, and a healthy dose of deconstruction in order to shatter misconceptions about experiences oft-ignored by mainstream media. Prior works include the experimental films "Inside Voice" and "prism" (both currently under review by festivals) and the narrative short "Life in Ab Minor". In addition to filmmaking, Jillian devotes her time to writing and photography.
CHRISTIAN VAZQUEZ is a junior at Connecticut College double majoring in Film Studies and Philosophy. He has a passion for the visual constructions in filmmaking and the power dynamics that come within framing and the film apparatus. He is dedicated to recognizing and adjusting the representational and ideological shortcomings of mainstream consumer culture with his multi-faceted creative work such as film, dance choreography, and event planning. His other works include "Civic Engagement", a film that tackles the portrayal of female independence in the Rom-Com. He hopes to start a production company that shares his passion for representational equity one day.
