Director Biography - Pveclidias Witbooi

Pveclidias Witbooi; is a Namibian filmmaker. In 2009 he was selected for the Durban talent campus, where his passion for filmmaking emerged. Witbooi is a self teach filmmaker and since has been active in development low budget music video’s, making short films and documentary’s. Witbooi join the One Africa NEWS team in 2014 as camera operator a position he held for two year During this period he directed his Début film THE MBUNZA OF THE KAVANGO (2015) and won the best documentary at the Namibian Film and Theatre Awards 2017. amongs other films Pveclidias Directed is BROKEN PENCILS a short film (2016) and his most recent work THE VOICE OF THE BUSH 2019 a documentary about the Ju/huansi of the San. Pveclidias is currently developing his first feature film BIRDS NEST a Psycho thriller for Gooday Film Production.
