Stay Tuned we are getting ready for 2024!

Join us for the 8th incredible mind melting Vision Feast!

Here at the Vision Feast, we want to recognize filmmakers who have poured blood, sweat and tears into their projects; filmmakers who show an aptitude for creative storytelling fused with technical understanding and of course, a stroke of madness.

We are dedicated to showcasing the best of the best from around the world, and with New Zealand being our homeland, we have a special focus on celebrating local talent.

We are a film festival for film makers, run by film makers, so we know how hard you have worked on your projects, and now you are looking to showcase your work to the world; so why choose The Vision Feast Film Fest? Each year we aim to create a world class degustation of content to wow our cinema audience. We know it can get expensive to enter various festival across the planet without the guarantee that your project will be selected, so we aim to make our entry fees affordable and competitive for your consideration. Just read our reviews if you're unsure ;) So get your projects in, Chompy is hungry!

Our spotlight categories each year offer special reduced entries fees. This year they are:

----SPOTLIGHT COUNTRY: UK (30 mins or under)----
Our 2024 Country spotlight is the UK - Projects made by anyone in UK or of UK descent. Short films, animations, music videos, experimental projects, you name it we want it
Works do not have to feature UK content but must be made by film Makers of UK origin. All genres accepted.

----SPOTLIGHT GENRE: Retrospective visions (30 mins or under)----
Do you have a killer project you made in year 2000? or maybe it was 1975! Well we are opening a new special retrospective category looking back across time. Projects made any time throughout time before 2020 are eligible for this category. It doesn't matter if its won awards, published online or never seen the light of day. We are looking for mind-melting stories and visions to stun our cinema audience no matter if it was shot on 8mm in the 50's, MiniDV tape in the 2000s, or Digital SLR in the 2010s - we wanna to see it!
