The Vagabond__
Set in a post-industrial dystopian future, new-age director Samuel McBrwon’s ‘The Vagabond' is the story of a young environmentalist whose obsession to rid his town of the hazards of plastic pushes him into a deadly confrontation with a sinister corporate bigwig who would stop at nothing to silence his enemies. Very much neo-noir in its undertone, this short thriller blurs the line between dissent and madness, between activism and crusade. The protagonist here experiences a journey of struggle from the point of his elevated activist approach to the grab of bullets and firearms, through a series of ups and downs on the way of his life. His strength of activism had been shattered by the powerholders’ misuse of power that showed him no optimism and certain psychological as well as physical traumas made him wander on the roads as a plastic tramp with the madness of being a cursed lunatic. There were no signs of welfare in the city. There were no voices; there were only vibrations of threatened revolutionaries.
Based on the hazards of plastic caused not by act of God but by the greed of Human minds, this short thriller with a twisted plot emphasizes on resurrection.

New to this field. 'WORKS' will speak and write.
I know the world is ending, let's not exploit the resources, let's exploit only the exploited to stop exploitation. Save the generations, save the world.
There come situations in real lives when people not in power are ought to step on thorns of risk and when risk betrays, the thorns end up trapping the powerful/dominant stereotype. Plastic in the story of the film is just a pick among the deadly hazards, there are more including human behavior and greed. These are not physical. 'The Vagabond' was made during my post graduation degree.
