The Undefeated
The Undefeated narrates the hurdles and joys of five vulnerable children in contemporary India. Each story is fictional but heavily inspired by the real life of the children sheltered and protected by the NGO TARA in New Delhi.
The film itself is divided into five scenes. In turn, each child takes the stage to tell his or her story, either through the evocation of a significant event, or through a slice of life. They tell us about their personalities, but also their joys, their doubts, and their hopes.
To emphasize their personality and their point of view, each part is also animated in a different style.

Director, journalist and cinematographer, Dorothée Adam has directed many films on political, environmental and social issues.
For the past 20 years, she has regularly carried out volunteer missions in India for associations supporting children including NANBAN, Father Ceyrac's Trust, Paraman Keni and Chemins d'Enfances. In 2010, she created the association An Eye for An Eye which initiates long-term between children around the world.
Through this partnership, the NGO TARA, the Gobelins animation School and Dorothée Adam have been working together on "The Undefeated", a project advocating for child protection in India and the work done through TARA programs.
