Douglas Baum is an independent documentary filmmaker from Texas. Past projects have been commissioned by the Texas Plains Trail and the Scurry County Historical Commission. He's also produced mini-documentary films about the plight of camel men in post-revolution Egypt, camel milk, camel saddle making traditions in Morocco, and a Bedouin family in the Sinai desert.
Visual storytelling is simply an extension of my passion for people, their stories, and how their stories impact others.
