The Tram Attack

On Monday, March 18, 2019 at 10:41 am, fire is opened in a tram on the 24-Oktoberplein in Utrecht. Four people die on the spot or later from their injuries. The rest of the occupants, some of them injured, manage to flee and survive the terrorist attack.

This event has had a great impact and is a dark day in the history of the Netherlands. Even for the journalists and doctors involved, who regularly experience harrowing situations and then have to keep their distance, it has now come very close. They will never be able to forget this day.

The impact is of course greatest on the victims and surviving relatives. They brutally lost a family member or suddenly found themselves in the middle of a terrorist attack.

They talk about this in the documentary. Because how did the victims and surviving relatives experience the day of the attack? And how are they doing now?
