The mission of the Trail Running Film Festival is to celebrate running as a universal practice to explore our collective and individual potential and pursue our wildest dreams.

We accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running, supporting filmmakers and creatives, and hosting events that bring our community together.

We are committed to promoting inclusivity, adventure, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.

All ethnicities and races, all genders, all sexual orientations, all religions, all countries of origin, all languages, all abilities, and all ages.

The Trail Running Film Festival is committed to being active collaborators working towards an equitable future where everyone is celebrated on trails and within our broader culture.

Our selection process:
Our panel of judges will be selecting 6-8 films, ranging from 3min to 20min in length.
We're looking for films highlighting the beauty of trail running in a unique way. We favor films that have not had online releases prior to submitting.

The films will be shown:
On 100+ screens in theaters, pubs, running specialty stores and at trail races all over the world as well as online for our virtual viewing week.
