I wanted to make something that pushed our creative limits. After four years of being inspired by my talented friends, my writer Matthew J. Depompo and I wanted to create a compelling story that is bigger than life while also being realistic. In order to achieve this, we decided to build a set that represented our character's past and current struggles. However, due to our low budget, this idea seemed impossible. But luckily I had a team of passionate filmmakers that gave so much to the story that it became a reality. My biggest fear of taking on such a massive project was making sure the actors' performances felt genuine. And after many months of pre-production, I think we excelled in making a film where the characters feel real. If it weren't for my amazing cast and crew, none of this would be possible.
