Chase Weston has been making films for more than 15 years. He is an accomplished, award-winning director and producer. He has run film-festivals and built companies; but his passion has always been producing movies and his favorite genre is, by far, horror (creature-features particularly).
"I love creating monsters. I have always been obsessed with monsters and horror movies. My art teachers used to think I was strange, but well, look at me now! (still strange, I know) But there is something about creating beautiful beasties that look like they have crawled right out of a nightmare. I just love it."
The world we experience is largely created in our own minds. This film is a meditation on the concept of 'as above, so below' - and that what we hold in our mind (good/bad, positive/negative) ultimately manifests into our experienced reality.
I wanted to take a character and represent both of their worlds. The internal and the external. I wanted to take the twisted inner dark of Jones and give it a physical form.
What we hold in our mind we bring into our reality, and as Jones finds out: 'There is no hell so horrible, as the one we create for ourselves.'
