The Time to Heal
We follow three health care professionals as they strive to heal patients and themselves in the time of COVID.
This film follows veteran Emergency Department director Steven Mitchell, and new nurses, Rocky Dixon and Bethany Houston, as they work at the Pacific Northwest's trauma center, Harborview. We are with them during an intimate and emotional time as they help heal lives dealing with COVID - including their own.

I gravitate towards projects that allow me access to explore emotional depths and deep questions about our humanity that we often do not want to face. This film afforded me the opportunity to do just that. I hope it helps build the empathy that I have found by walking in the shoes of these compassionate caregivers, even just for a brief moment. I believe if we are going to grow as a society we need to walk in others shoes more often.
