The Time of a Gaze

When we come to a conclusion, it often happens that is not the same as the one that we would have come to some time later. It is not a about reflecting on it, rather of giving our mind time to elaborate and re-elaborate. It is wrong to make a judgment right away, especially when you are emotionally involved.
This short film helped the director elaborate what she felt during the Emergenza Sorrisi humanitarian mission in Benin in April 2015. The shots reflect the authorial gaze, trying to become part of that group of images capable of being witnesses to the world and of the events that characterize it.
