The Third Eclipse on Purgatory

He forges the fate of a man.
She reminisces her past.
The solar eclipse reigns.

Episode one: Thirty-Three Espressos Before Darkness
Three ladies meet the man one by one in a cafe. They appear to be part of a long series of interviews. The ladies have one motive: to be selected for a guaranteed immigration to an unknown nation. Of course, the chosen one must marry the man, for immigration purposes.

The three ladies carry their own reasons to be picked, but one of them is truly interested in knowing the man, first.
Only through the course of their chat, we realize the man’s intention.

Episode two: Astringent Color of a Half-shut Frame
The writer glimpses at what appears to be the last pages of his latest prose. He reaches for the rope and hangs himself. Moment later, his partner comes in and tells all about her morning, not realizing him hanging close by (or does she?). Incidentally, she mentions her encounter with a café owner — the lady who has moved in downstairs the night before. Apparently, the café owner has told her that there will be a solar eclipse tomorrow afternoon.
Then, she shares her thoughts on their peaceful already-decided separation with the writer: she fully understands it.

She asks the writer to finish his routine show and join her for lunch, as she must get back to work. The writer releases himself, takes the last pages— the fate of the man in episode one—and joins his partner.

Episode three: The Third Eclipse on Purgatory
As the eclipse begins, we hear a couple’s conversation happening in her empty café. The thunder reigns. The man questions the woman’s decision on breaking up. He wants her to go back with him to where he lives in another country, or practically, anywhere else but where they are now. Her café seems to be more important. Her will is strong to make the café work one day.
The sound of rain is replaced by a crowd. We see the café owner, ten years in the future, reminiscing the past over a cigarette.
