The Test
Misled by symptoms and limited understanding of how babies are conceived, two seven-year-old children play with a pregnancy test while in another room their parents, who are having and extramarital affair, face a couple crisis. The narrative creates a bitter-sweet parallel between the adults' and the children's behavior, showing how age shapes relationships.

Marina-Evelina Cracana is an alumna of Scotland Screen Academy and Aristoteles Workshop 2016. During her studies Marina has produced and directed three shorts, among which, 'The Fuel Filter' was awarded the Best International Documentary Short at Altan Khalis Independent Film Festival 2018. In 2016 she received the Jean Oser Prize in film studies from University of Regina in Canada. She is currently making the transition towards feature length films alongside Film and Tell, a Stockholm based production company. 'The Test' is Marina's graduation film.
When I was little, at one point I started to worry that I could get pregnant from different things: using a public toilet, bathing in the sea, kissing someone on the lips. This innocent perception of pregnancy rooted in my childhood inspired me to write the script of ‘The Test’ adding to it an adult, more corruptible approach to sexuality that leaves room for betrayal and factual consequences.
