As an Art Director on major motion pictures I've had the pleasure to learn from and be inspired by some of the most talented film makers.
'Lines', my short animation completed in 2020 has recently screen in many festivals world wide.
Narrated by Letitia Wright, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jodie Turner-Smith, Adepero Oduye and Riz Ahmed, 'Lines' animates the heartbreaking and moving poems written by American prisoners, revealing their regrets, fears and hopes beyond the lines of their confinement.
As a London based Glaswegian and missing my hometown during lockdown, I wanted to animate a homage to my city. A 'Rear Window' set in the Red Sandstone Tenements of Glasgow, I visualised a few moments of the lives of the tenants one rainy spring evening.
