The Tale of Day and Night
Long ago, the twin siblings–the Sun and Moon, began to rule the sky together. Over time, the Sun grew arrogant and demanded to rule alone. This left the world in constant daylight—causing plants to wither and leaving the animals restless. The Sun noticed the sudden change in the plants and animals’ behavior—leaving him with confusion and regret. The Sun decided to ask the Moon for help. The Moon showed the Sun how plants and animals thrive by growing during the daytime and by resting during the nighttime, realizing that day and night are both essential for survival.
