I have a tendency to experience spontaneous and weird thoughts, with my mind frequently generating unusual ideas. It was during one of these moments of contemplation that the concept of “The Sun is Bad” first emerged. Growing up in Hong Kong, I was inspired by the city’s rich cinematic history and its unique blend of Eastern and Western influences. This diverse background has shaped my artistic perspective and fueled my desire to create a film to celebrate the unique culture and beauty of this city and to combine all the crazy ideas I have.
