THE STORY OF TARCIANS
In its 18th Annual General Meeting on the 24th March 1968, MCA's President, Tun Tan Siew Sin announced that the political party will initiate a move to establish a higher education institution to address the concerns of students who were unable to further their education as they could not obtain the required grades for MCE.
This announcement gave hope to May Li, Ken, Razali and Rama who were from different parts of the country. Through their eyes, we see the struggle of the people who had played a role in setting up TARC (Tunku Abdul Rahman College) in just two years, particularly Khaw Kai Boh and Tun Tan Siew Sin amidst the turbulent political scenario at that time. The lives, dilemmas, spirits, as well as the achievements of the first batch of TARC students are seen with the opportunities presented with the establishment of TARC.

'TSOT' is a film travelling back to the late 60s' when two individuals contribute their unconditional love in shaping the education scene Of Malaysia. Despite political instability at that era, they established a tertiary education institution, Tunku Abdul Rahman College, providing the younger generations a second chance to further their studies.
This has not only changed their lives then but also the people now. TAR College has been through its highs and lows through the years, facing obstacles as a family and that has shaped them as a National 'Hero' today.
This film breaks into two parts, the interviews of stakeholders and actors reenacting the situations during the era of establishment. This is not only a film for fellow Malaysians but also for individuals all around the world that are concern about education.
'One can be poor in anything but not education', this old Chinese saying relates closely to this film. It strongly depicts how the persistence of a small group of individuals has made a huge positive change to one Nation's development.
