I remember watching “Alien” with my mom when I was young. I started getting scared and to calm me down she explained that what I was seeing on screen was not real; there were puppets and actors, cameras and lights, there were people all around the set working to create this illusion. Her revelation indeed worked to calm me down, but it did so much more than that! I became fascinated by the magic of film. I found myself plagued by questions like, “How did they do that?” As I got older, I became obsessed with finding the answers to my questions. I devoted myself to learning and mastering every aspect of filmmaking. The more I learned, the more my love for cinema was cultivated. As a professional I love the fact that I get to indulge the passion that I have fostered since childhood.
