The Stone of Faith
Faith is universal and rooted deep within us, like our thoughts and aspirations. Faith is a feeling that resides within the depths of the heart, which brings people closer to each other. The Dupcheshwar Temple in Nuwakot is a perfect example of Faith. Faith makes people lively and dynamic and guides them in the right direction. Faith is not just related to religion; it is associated with a person's emotions and way of life. For those who revere the stone of Faith, the stone is indeed divine. It connects people to nature and to the land. It is the amalgamation of religion and culture. The essence of Faith is the same, regardless of the differences in race, religion, and creed. It is a symbol of unity and connects people from all walks of life.

No matter where a person resides in the world, their identity lies in their language, art, and culture. As Nepalis, we are rich in our cultural heritage. Every festival we celebrate is intertwined with our culture, and our temples and monasteries stand as symbols of our faith. Our culture boasts of its own language and performing arts. We cherish our traditions only in their authentic form, handed down to us through generations. Our culture tells a unique story that has the power to captivate the world. The film ‘The Stone of Faith’ stands out from the rest. People from different races, religions, and communities visit here. What drives them to this place is simply their faith. This documentary is also an examination of how our faith is woven into our cultural fabric.
