The Static of Rigid Bodies
Plagued by internal conflict and addiction, Sadie is controlled by the suffocating grip of social media and technology. She is trapped, isolated, and burdened with her own invisible demons as she searches for anything to make her feel alive. Will she escape? Can anyone ever escape?
Sadie’s experience is one of many in an ever-evolving society. Her story reflects a common denominator among the existence of mankind and cell phones. Too often we miss out on our own lives because we become overwhelmed seeing all the lives we could be living instead. It is this paradox that opens our eyes to endless wonder, emotion, and possibility, so much so that it can be paralyzing.

I love to tell stories.
To me, filmmaking is many things. An escape. A voice for expression. A vessel to send a message. A way to induce change. Additionally, I believe stories have the power to bring people together despite an abundance of differences. The art of visual storytelling is perhaps one of the most complex forms of storytelling because of the moving parts and challenges to overcome... and one of the best. This aspect of teamwork is something I am eager to be a part of and is why I look forward to working on larger productions.
It was through athletics that I learned the value of teamwork. I grew up playing soccer and running, and competed for the cross country and track team at the University of Pittsburgh for three and a half years. This semester being my final one at Pitt, I wanted to focus on my filmmaking career and made the difficult decision to step away from running. I miss the team and our work together, but now hope to collaborate with others in a creative nature. I am about to complete a major in Film Production and a minor in Spanish, and I am very much looking forward to the next chapter of my story.
