Sofía Rodríguez Peña is a dedicated and imaginative artist who holds a Bachelor's degree in Design with minors in Film, Video, Animation, and Visual Computing from Universidad de los Andes.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, Sofía has honed a diverse set of skills, including art direction, illustration, and both 2D and 3D animation. Her work reflects a deep passion for storytelling, merging technical expertise with emotional depth to create visually compelling narratives.

"This film is a deeply personal reflection on my family’s history, inspired by my grandmother’s extraordinary role as a caretaker and a weaver. Her ability to transform simple threads into works of art mirrored the way she wove strength and resilience into our lives. Through this story, I sought to honor her legacy and explore the threads that connect generations. It is my way of expressing gratitude for the love and lessons she passed down and ensuring that her light continues to shine."
