After ruining their careers due to alcoholism, three musical groups battle to recover their big name status and self-esteem. But when given a second chance, will they put the pieces back together again or will they resort to deceitful measures, and put a huge nail in their music career coffins for good!

Director Statement

Star Connection I believe is one of my most challenging films I have ever created. From the time I began writing this dynamic screenplay to finished I was hit with one trail after the other.

I think while perusing your dreams, everyone will be challenged to find out within themselves if you truly have what it takes to accomplish your dreams. This movie did just that.

In the process of filming the Star Connection. there were times I felt like just walking away but gladly I was raised to not be a quitter because it was the upbringing and with Gods strength that gave me the endurance to press forward against all odds.

Being an African American independent female filmmaker is no cakewalk but Ive learned how to move around what some in society view as an impossible task and move around limitations with force and determination.

I was blessed to work with amazingly talented actors who were able at the drop of the hat to roll with any sudden changes. They all in my book are stars indeed.
