The Spring That Lives Here
The film “The Spring That Lives Here” deals with the social, environmental and cultural importance of Homero Silva square, known for having several water sources and a wide green area in the middle of the metropolis of São Paulo. Due to the construction of a large building on the adjacent land, the square’s ecosystem is under a threat. Based on this urgent situation, the documentary questions the way that we are building and inhabiting cities.

Gabriela Nassar has a degree in Cinema (FAAP). She works as a Production Designer, having worked in several short films and advertising films. He worked as assistant to director Pedro Morelli in the feature film "Zoom" (2015), produced by O2 Filmes. She was the art director of the hybrid feature film "O Amigo do Rei" (2019), by André D'Elia. She has always been passionate about documentaries and recently directed the documentary short “The Spring That Lives Here".
