The Speed of Dust

Emmanuel is visited by an old friend he hasn’t seen in a long time. However, the friend has come for more than just a casual visit. After a heartfelt conversation and a small argument about a strange fairy tale, he wants to refresh their memories of the past and asks for an album of their youthful photos. While Emmanuel distracts himself by setting up a place for the night, his friend burns the entrusted photos. The next morning, an unsuspecting Emmanuel, having bid farewell to his granddaughter who visited him the day before, calls his friend to the breakfast table, only to find that he is alone in the house. Or so he thought, until he encounters a strange creature in his kitchen, which reveals that his old friend exists in a completely different time space.
