I am a recent graduate at The University of Kent (July 2019) where I studied English and American Literature and Film. For many years I have taken part in the Dramatic Arts where I acted and directed performances, and soon become very interested in Film. This sparked from my studying of Media in A-Level, focusing upon Film, which then led me to further study it as a degree. Literature for me is also a huge factor in my passion for film and has been such an inspiration for some of my work. I am now an amateur filmmaker where I have pursued elements that I have learned throughout my education and discoveries into my own work.
The Sound of Us is a film that unravels the idea that we don't need a complex context to understand the truth about others. It is a film that explores that even when the world ends, that doesn't mean we end with it.
