The Sound Is The Scenery
The Sound Is The Scenery documentary follows Rona Geffen, a multi disciplinary artist, musician and sound healer while finalizing her audio visual piece The Sound Is The Scenery on 4DSOUND at the Spatial Sound Institute in Budapest. The Sound Is The Scenery is an innovative spatial musical composition incorporating geometrical structures known mainly from Sacred Geometry and mathematical ratios and sequences such as the golden ratio and Fibonacci sequence, with planetary sounds also used in sound healing methods. The Sound Is The Scenery concert was spatially composed to establish self empowerment and a higher state of consciousness.
The movie follows Geffen and her crew which includes mathematician Dr. Claire Glanois and visual artist Alessandra Leone and outlines the guiding themes leading Geffen’s work on this unique and ground breaking project combining sound, geometry, mathematics and light as well as it demonstrates the enchanting outcome of these profound building blocks of nature and art. The documentary was filmed, directed and edited by production company Quiet City Films.

Paul Holdsworth and Daniela del Pomar completed their
cinematography and audiovisual arts studies in 2012. Since then,
they have been living and working in Berlin as cinematographers,
focusing on documentary filmmaking. They are currently studying
documentary direction and film production at the self-governed film school “filmArche”.
