Birdsong
Using a mix of claymation and live action, the song/music video tells the story of a baby bird in its nest and the angst of its confusion of trying to understand the world around it as an allegory for the human condition.

Allison Bryant is a director, actor, and producer living in Los Angeles, California. She is a multi-hyphenate artist with a passion for creating new work.
Mark came to me with a moving song and a desire to try some claymation mixed with live action and then allowed me to run with it. I created a brief, we set a budget and then it was game on. It isn't often that someone trusts you with complete creative freedom and believes in you enough to bring their opus to life. So first of all, I am very grateful to him and The Sonic Escape for bringing me into the project.
The goal was to make a rough claymation with a DIY 90's vibe that juxtaposed beautiful, high-quality footage of the live band with a little surprise twist at the end. Together we took a lofty vision and with a lot of passion and hard work brought it to fruition on a shoestring budget. I couldn't be prouder of what we accomplished.
