Carlo and Alonso are two talented young filmmakers.
Carlo was born and raised in Córdoba, a small town in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. His constant interest in filmmaking led him to participate in various independent film projects until he joined Blue Head Films, the production company behind his latest directorial shortfilm, "The Solipsist."
Alonso, a young filmmaker from Mexico City, has developed his skills as an editor, screenwriter, and director. His passion for cinema has driven him to write, communicate, and express himself through the camera, conveying the same experiences that made him fall in love with the seventh art.
Currently, Alonso and Carlo ara part of the team of Blue Head Films, where they work alongside in creating innovative and exciting projects.
"The Solipsist" is a profound journey into the psyche of Eugenio, a thirty-something artist who is unaware that everything around him has been created by his own mind.
This project explores themes such as solitude and introversion, which can lead an individual to very dark places within their own mind and alienate those who seek to love them. The film invites the audience to reflect on how the ideas of the outside world manifest within their minds, uniquely but always tainted by the perception of the "self," where the most important people play a fundamental role.
Rated PG-13, this short film is intended for all those seeking a thought-provoking experience. The project's goal is to show the audience that life is filled with sweet and bitter moments. Ultimately, although life may not be what we expect, it is each individual's responsibility to pay attention to what we choose to value.
