The Small Big-Micro Vision (Virtual Reality)
The Small Big – Micro Vision is the co-production program organized by Public Television Service Foundation and Funique VR Studio. The new program, which records eight unique species of Taiwan, is the first children's ecological programs produced with the combination of VR technology in Taiwan’s television history.
"Micro-vision" sees the ecological environment of Taiwan in the first person perspective, which spots the problems and challenges existed in Taiwanese ecology. The main character in the program is the Pachyrhynchus growing on the beautiful island of Lanyu. She used to live carelessly on the Leea tree. However, due to the destruction of her habitat, she was forced to embark the journey.
She’s petite and not able to fly. Instead of flying, she utilized the extraordinary climbing techniques, brilliant protective colors and a hard outer shell to overcome the different difficulties, defeating natural enemies, which made her win the title of “super woman” in the insect world, and also reunited with her companions!

Lanyu, located in the southeast of Taiwan, is an ecological and culturally rich place.
The volcanic island contains a variety of Taiwanese original species and the traditional culture of the aboriginals, Dawu people.
Pachyrhynchus is also one of the famous beautiful insects on the island. The beauty of Lan Yu has also attracted many tourists. In recent years, the island experienced several construction for numbers of villas, which seriously caused the destruction of many natural environments and make the Pachyrhynchus faces a crisis of survival.
This episode hopes to explore the story through the perspective of the bug, Pachyrhynchus of Lanyu and conveys the dilemma existed in Lanyu and allows the audience to see the charming and lovely Taiwan endemic species,
Hopefully, it will create the audience empathy to protect the environmental issues of the beautiful place, Lanyu.
