Director Biography - Cristo M. Sanchez

Cristo M. Sanchez was born in Santiago, Chile, and grew up in Oslo, Norway. His parents, both avid book readers, encouraged his creativity and hunger for books as well as movies from an early age, frequently taking him to the cinema and introducing him to many classic movies.
Around age five his older brother introduced the showing of horror, thriller and sci-fi movies into the baby-sitting ritual, and the first seeds to a life-long love of movies were sown. As these seeds were nurtured and grew, he developed a strong passion for writing that quickly became an obsession.
He began writing short-stories in his mid-teens and finished his first novel in his early twenties. In his mid-twenties he was encouraged by a friend to try his hand on a screenplay, which proved to be love at first typed scene. It was without a doubt the natural next step in his writing evolution and he has been vigorously writing screenplays, writing novels and making movies ever since.
He is also a musician.
