The Shadow

Peter needs to choose between a stern moral code and his paternal instincts when his own shadow haunts him by taking control of all light and redirecting it to focus on his decision to kick his teenage daughter out, after becoming pregnant. Stubbornly, Peter destroys his shadow, by turning off all the power, but he soon realizes he cannot live in a world without any light. He chooses to turn his power back on, then turn his porch light on, to let his daughter know she is welcome home, and in doing so he chooses to adopt his paternal instincts in full, allowing his shadow to rest at his side.
