The Sex Puzzle Part 2 - The Stroll
SEX.
The very word stimulates, and provokes the imagination. Everyone has their ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and notions of what sex, and sexuality means, but how do we discuss it, dissect it, and respect its place in our lives?
“The Sex Puzzle” seeks to explore a deeper understanding of sex, and sexuality in American culture, by challenging society’s opinions of the nuclear family, sexuality, gender-identity, gender-politics, discrimination, prejudice, and so much more. Through presenting topics in a kaleidoscopic, participatory fashion, and by allowing people to tell their own stories, and explain their own attitudes, ”The Sex Puzzle" goes beyond the surface to illuminate, and highlight what sex, and sexuality looks like from myriad viewpoints, to perhaps bring about a better understanding of an underrepresented, misunderstood, and highly important part of our lives.

I believe a happy society is a healthy society, and to that degree, I've dedicated a good portion of my artistic life to the promotion of healthy expressions of sex, and sexuality in this society. I feel our puritanical belief system has impeded our ability to grow, and has created a fear-based belief system around a topic which is so incendiary for many. If we can create dialog around topics which may make us uncomfortable, but which directly pertain to our lives, I feel we can strike down fear, and begin to build better communication, tolerance, understanding, and acceptance.
