The Serbian Banat's Hell
More than a year after media reports about the inhumane living and working conditions of Vietnamese workers at the construction site of the Chinese tire factory "Linglong", there is not enough official information about what actually happened for months in the industrial zone on the outskirts of Zrenjanin.
The events that marked the year 2021 in the grounds of the "Linglong" factory are told in the film "Hell on the Banat Land" by those who directly participated in it.
Their assessment is unique - the Chinese investor violated basic human rights and the rights of employees in Serbia, and made Vietnamese workers victims of human trafficking.
All Vietnamese workers returned to their country of origin. The state of Serbia did not protect them in any way. The question is who is next?

And while untouchable officials and powerful people have their own version of the story, which, as usual, irresistibly resembles gaslight, Hell on Banat, with the simple message "help the Vietnamese, you will help yourself", will continue its path against indifference. Answering the questions at the same time - why we need solidarity so much, why we need the public and why silence about the invisible is dangerous for all of us.
