The Secret

The film begins with actual footage of my husband's family going to Lithuania in the early 30's, before WW 2 exploded in Europe, and Hitler came to power. When I first viewed this little bit of film, I knew that I had to share it with the world. None of the Jews pictured in the early moments of my film survived the Holocaust My friend had told me the story of how her mother had celebrated Mother's Day every year with her two mothers. When questioned about the story, "The Secret" was born. I attempted to match the graininess of the original footage with the newer parts of the film. The lost child found her real mother in America after the war.The hope that the story conveys to all, gives rise to the idea that all things are possible when there is love.
