The Relief Quota
Triveni Basic School: A unique example of community's active participation in a school. None of the teachers is permanent in this school. Even the head teacher is under the relief quota, a temporary position provided by the government, as the term itself suggests. This is the story of a school that does not prefer permanent teachers.

Contemporary Vision commenced in 2000 with a staff of three. Now it has 6 staff working full time and hires consultants for different projects. It is a research based socially aware advocacy, research and audiovisual production company that have received both local and international commissions for investigative reports, rights advocacy and documentaries. Contemporary Vision takes a story from concept to production, post-production and broadcasting. It is working to mainstream the issues of marginalized, dalits and indigenous people through independent filmmaking. Contemporary vision believes that documentary film can be an advocacy tool in social transformation.
