The Sacrifice of the Druids

In this video essay a château and its oral history come to life as the director allows the thoughts of others to be manifested in a film.
By means of improvisation in front an behind the camera, in the editing, and later whilst creating music for it, a film that creates itself came into being.

The Sacrifice of the Druids is an improvised film where not only acting and performance are dealt with improvisation but also the images, sounds and voice over. In a search to render my impressions of a Mansion in near Bergerac, France I sought to find a way of conveing what I had learned about the place and its surrounding in a visual essay and film-experiment.
