Director Biography - Po-Cheng Teng

Teng Po-Cheng came from Miaoli in Taiwan and got an MFA in Applied Media Arts from the National Taiwan University of Arts. “The Rooftop” is his debut short film as a director and screenwriter.

Director Statement

When you talk about sex in Asia, most people feel ashamed and ignore it because of traditional values instilled from family or school. “The Rooftop” points out how unequal power affects bodily integrity. Not only youth, everyone should take back control of their sex and their body.
