The River's voices
In the peruvivan jungle, there is a famous myth about a pink dolphin, which emerges in the middle fo the night from the water and tries to seduce young women on the riverside. This legend affects a teenager who is pregnant and nobody knows who is the father. Most of her neighbors think that the father is not human.
This is a real life drama that a lot of girls and teenagers have to face in their communities.

Livia Silvano Pacaya was born on March 30th of 2001 in Belén, the most dangerous neighborhood of Iquitos in the country of Peru, where most people live in stilt houses. She has Kokama offspring, an indigenous ethnic group of the Peruvian Amazon.
Livia worked in the short "Por ti” as a producer in 2019. Also, in that year, she directed and wrote the documental short “Rafita”. And she joined the youth organization against the violence in Belén.
In 2021, She joined the workshop audiovisual revolution to improve her skills. In that year, she directed and wrote the short “Bufeo” or also called “The River’s Voices”. She was part of the project “ICARO” in order to create audiovisual content in native communities.
In 2022, she took part of a Theater workshop. She worked as an assistant producer in two big movies: “Isla Bonita” and “La Niña del Azúcar”.
Finally, she is part of the feminist collective “Yucas Bravas” and participate in a clown collective.
