The Rip

The six-minute short, has three characters: Laurinha and Laurão, variations on the artist/animator persona, and the tear, the burst, the black hole that precedes the narrative’s tense moments, leading the characters to transit between their own existences. The Lauras relate to the specific space in which they were conceived, enter and leave, travel from strange places to familiar places, pass through strangely familiar spaces but always immersed in their own production process. Laurinha runs over the storyboard, Laurão interacts with essential tools for creating the short film and, as an epilogue, relation expressed by the characters and the sceneries, propose the research to find pleasure in transitioning.
