The Ride

Raghav, a quiet and seemingly ordinary bike taxi driver, spends his night picking up passengers, each lost in their own reality. A stressed corporate executive, a heartbroken woman, an optimistic old man, and a reckless drunk—four lives intersect in fleeting moments, unaware they are being observed by the man behind the helmet.

As the night deepens, so does the tension. When the last passenger reaches his destination, the night takes a brutal turn. With no words spoken and no explanations given, Raghav rides off into the night—just another driver, just another ride. But in the silence, a chilling question lingers: Was this fate, justice, or the beginning of something even more sinister?

Director Statement

Some journeys start simple but take unexpected turns. The Ride is more than just a ride on a bike—it’s about the unseen struggles we all carry and how one moment can change everything. Each passenger brings their own story—stress, heartbreak, wisdom, and recklessness—while the driver silently listens. But as the ride goes on, his own truth slowly unfolds. This film isn’t loud. It speaks through silence, emotions, and choices. And when it ends, it leaves you thinking long after the journey is over. — Ashwin Alok Director, The Ride
