Moon (Dipmanjuri Das) started her career in films as an assistant director with some of the best filmmakers from India like Shoojit Sircar, Vinil Matthew, Prakash Varma, Abhinay Deo and Gurinder Chaddha. After assisting for almost a decade she has directed short films and is developing feature films for some of the best directors in the country
After having seen few instances of dementia and alzheimer's cases in the family, I started wonder the changing dynamics of relationships as memory fades. The memory for the dementia patients starts to act as non linear passage of time where the past events might seem as present and the present might not exist.
The film,'The Review 'is a family drama where the protagonist tries to cope with such non linear passage of time and how it makes an impact on his family members.
