The ResLife
The job duties of a Resident Assistant include: stopping underage drinking, promoting safe sex and giving hugs, not drugs! Too bad “The ResLife” follows a student staff of RAs who just want to keep misbehaving AND their free tuition money without getting caught.
It might work — if it wasn’t for the track-record of rambunctious incidents within Cox Hall’s walls. When a fed-up Residence Life and Housing board debates closing the dorm for good, it’s up to the Hall Director and his RAs to save the Cox. Now, this staff’s open door policy will be taken to the extreme in an attempt to document their so-called “community enriching environment.”
There couldn’t be a worse time for the mid-year hire, Carmen, to show up.
Carmen may have conned her way through RA interviews, but she genuinely thought her vodka-fueled nights were over. Between ResLife’s threats, new enemies on staff and silly-string shots to the face… she’s drinking for a whole new set of reasons.
Carmen’s off to a rough start, but at least this staff-bonding game will bring everyone together. Right?
Wrong.

Victoria de la Concha grew up in Long Island with a clunky SONY camcorder in her hand and always a story to tell. She graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2017 with a BA in Broadcasting and Mass Communication and a minor in Creative Writing. Since then, Victoria has pounded the pavement as a Production Assistant for Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Television and Marvel Entertainment. By bouncing around the nooks and crannies of New York State she found an inclusive voice in her honest observations of humanity. In 2017, her interest in capturing these slice-of-life moments landed her a spot in the published anthology, “New York’s Best Emerging Poets.” Currently, she dreams of earning a place among New York’s best emerging filmmakers, but until then she enjoys being a part of the Latinx community who push the narrative forward.
