The Red Building

I'm Introducing a museum called Amna Suraka or the red building that symbolizes genocide against the Kurdish people in the northern region of Iraq (Kurdistan). Director Statement

My name is Diana Raoof, and I'm a senior at Battlefield high school. I created this documentary because I wanted people around the world to learn about the injustices brought against the Kurdish people for decades. The Kurdish people faced many genocides throughout their history; however, their voices were not heard enough. I wanted to help shed light on that part of history and honor the innocent people who lost their lives, families, and friends to these genocides.
