Born in 2003 in the city of Sertânia, Pernambuco, Brazil, currently a film student at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Independent producer.
"O Corvo" was an extremely personal project, I wrote the script thinking of merging the classic poetics of Allan Poe with the regional deliriums of my land. With that, I gave up all esotericism and took as inspiration the texts of Freud, Lacan, Augusto dos Anjos and Fernando Pessoa. At first, the idea was to transform the sacred into the profane, but as the project progressed, the objectives changed, and the idea became to print the agony on the canvas. The technical decisions followed the same line, lots of camera in hand, lots of close-ups and a dirty monochrome. The sound is dry and all material has been edited in mono. In short, "O Corvo" is about the agony of living in a sacred land.
