Writer Statement

As a black female screenwriter with a passion for history and storytelling, I specialize in crafting compelling war movies that capture the bravery and sacrifice of African Americans who have fought for their country. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the human experience, I strive to create films that not only entertain but also educate and inspire audiences. My war movies not only depict the bravery of soldiers on the front lines but also the impact of their absence on the families they leave behind. I aim to provide a nuanced portrayal of the human cost of war, including the emotional toll it takes on those left at home. Whether exploring tank warfare in Korea or the battlefields of World War II, I am dedicated to bringing these important stories to life on the big screen.
