The Quickening
The Quickening is a visual album spoken-word journey from the bottom of the sea all the way to the Pleiades Star Cluster. Featuring the poetry and performance of award-winning multi-hyphenate artist Rachel Kann, this is more than a film, it's a ceremony.

From Rachel Kann - writer, lead performer and co-creator:
“The Quickening” is a labor of love: the first spoken-word visual album. Because of this, it defies categorization and doesn’t easily fit into a box. It is a series of music video-style vignettes which, together, create a journey toward transcendence starting from the bottom of the sea and ending at the Pleiades star cluster. My hope is that watching this film will be an experience of empowerment that is more like a ceremony than a traditional narrative experience, and that it leaves you feeling hopeful and inspired.
